After her funeral at Westminster Abbey, the Queen’s coffin will be transferred to Windsor Castle, about 20 miles outside Central London. The Queen will be buried there, joining a long list of former monarchs who have been buried there. The queen will be buried alongside her late husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Some interesting facts include the fact that the late Queen will be buried with some of her jewelry, which according to sources are some of her enormous personal jewels, which are as monumental and majestic as the crown jewels themselves.

Queen Elizabeth II will be buried wearing a Welsh gold wedding ring and pearl earrings, according to sources.

Her ring is made of gold from the Clogau St David mine, which has been used to make royal wedding bands since 1923. It was a gift from her parents, George VI and Elizabeth, and it started the tradition of making all rings for the British monarchy out of this metal.
