This comes after the LSK boss filed an application in court seeking orders to outlaw the police from prosecuting him over alleged offenses surrounding the events that took place at the LSK Council meeting held on Monday 12th July at the LSK offices in Nairobi.

Havi was arrested on  Tuesday 13th by the DCI officers over an allegation that he assaulted former CEO Mercy Wambua.

Through his lawyer, Bryan Khaemba, Havi argued that the complaint made by Wambua was false.

“The police intent to prosecute him in respect of a complaint and offences related to rumours and innuendo peddled through print and social media, following a meeting at the LSK offices, Gitanga Road which he was present in his professional capacity as the elected President of the LSK,” Khaemba argued.
