How To Prepare Perfect Chicken Biryani
Here is how you can make the fluffy chicken biryani at home. It has the best blend of spices and is perfect for parties.
Ingredients
Full chicken
3 cups of long-grained rice
1 cup fried chicken
1½ cups of plain yogurt
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp chili flakes
1 tbsp mixed spices
Cooking oil
Salt
Procedure
Cut the chicken into desired sizes, clean it thoroughly and drain the water
In a bowl, mix all the dry spices and add the yogurt
Add the tomato paste to the mix and combine until well mixed
Add salt, garlic, and ginger paste to the chicken pieces then add the yogurt mixture and let it marinate for two hours
Place some deep cooking pan on low heat, add oil and onion then add the marinated chicken and let it cook for 20 minutes
As the chicken cooks, cook long-grained rice until halfway done, drain water from it, and set it aside
When the chicken is almost cooked, gently add the half-cooked rice on top of the chicken in the pot
Add the fried onions on top of the fried onions
Add some food color to the rice in streaks
Cover the rice and cook until the rice is fully cooked
Gently fluff up the rice and chicken
Your chicken biryani is ready, serve and enjoy.
