I Blame The Budget Committee, Aden Duale on Budget Read
Garissa Member of Parliament Aden Duale has openly referred the 2021-22 budget as the worst to be ever experienced in the country neither the President nor the Treasury CS is to be blamed.

Speaking on an interview on KTN just before the Sh3.63 trillion budget was read, he blamed the Committee of Budget in the House for they were given the powers to draft the budget.
“Those who blame the president and the National Treasury either for revenue, expenditure and debt perspective, it is like blaming the mortuary attendants when someone dies of malaria,” Duale said.
As per now, the country has accumulated upto Sh.8.3 trillion with the government managing to pay the commitment fee of up to Sh1.3 trillion extra loan to add to a total debt of Sh11 trillion.
This means that every 100 shillings a kenyan spends, 66 shillings goes to servicing of debts.
