Intern Nurses across the country have vowed to withdraw their services from lack of payment in the last 7 months

Intern Nurses across the country have vowed to withdraw from health facilities across the country from lack of payment in the last seven months. In their statement, the nurses  complain of uncondusive working environment. In addition, they also say they are being "used" to offer free services. 

The interns have pointed out their efforts and contributions to the health workforce. They say that both their mental and social health has been affected. The nurses complain of living in financial incapasitation while they continue giving out their services.

In reference to the nurse who commited suicide due too such delays, they complain of being at risk if things were not looked to.  The Ministry of Health, (MoH) has been involved in the last six moths but nothing has yielded yet.

The nurses are now requesting the state to honor the Empoyer-employee contract and pay them all the money accrued fom September 15, 2022 till date.
