According to Bloomberg, Apple store employees have been told to prepare for "a major new product release" on September 16. The company will also live stream the launch event online.

The iPhone 14 is expected to have the same 6.1-inch display as the iPhone 13, as well as a 6.7-inch Pro Max model. The Pro model will have a notch-less display and a 48-megapixel camera, among other changes. This will mark the first time Apple launches a non-Pro iPhone with a display of that size.

Bigger changes are on the way for the iPhone 14 Pro line. The front-facing camera cutout, known as the notch, will be replaced by a pill-shaped hole for Face ID sensors and a hole-punch-sized area for the camera. Users will have slightly more screen space as a result of this. The iPhone 14 Pro will also get a faster chip from Apple. Meanwhile, Apple will use the A15 chip from the iPhone 13 in the regular iPhone 14 models. Apple also intends to improve video recording and battery life.

An iPhone 14 tipster recently revealed all of the possible colors for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 14 will reportedly be available in Green, Purple, Blue, Black, White, and Red. While the iPhone 14 Pro will be available in Purple, Green, Silver, and Graphite.

The new iPhones will kick off a busy fall product season that includes multiple new Macs, low- and high-end iPads, and three Apple Watch models.
