The simulator which is being hosted at Kenya Airways Pride Center is the third in Africa and is set to support high-quality pilot and maintenance crew training.

"Operational excellence is one of our key pillars at Jambojet. Having the simulator here ensures our pilots do not have to travel outside the continent for training every six months, therefore maintaining our reliability, efficiency and safety standards," Jambojet Acting Managing Director, Karanja Ndegwa noted during  media experience of the Dash 8-400 simulator.

FlightSafety will also be working with Kenya Airways and Jambo jet for additional service simulators for the De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircrafts so as to increase proficiency of aviators by training more often and reduce overall training costs.
