JOBS: Finance Intern at Kasha Kenya
Kasha is a fast-growing startup e-commerce company in East Africa focused on women’s health and personal care, selling products such as menstrual care, contraceptives, HIV self-tests, soaps, lotions, baby diapers, and beauty products. Kasha’s e-commerce is highly accessible across the region and customers can order via website, app, USSD (basic mobile phone, no internet), call center, or social media.

Your Role:
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the incumbent shall be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Support in monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the business.
- Support in tracking, analysis, and reporting grant expenses (e.g. by updating time-trackers for grants expensing).
- Support in fundraising activities and investor reporting (e.g. by consolidating data financial and operational data based on investor requests).
- Support in responding to financial data requests from different teams across the company
- Assist in the creation and management of well-structured internal data rooms (e.g. to archive past investor queries and create FAQs).
- Carry out ad hoc analysis and provide any other needed support to enable the achievement of company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or other relevant subjects.
- 6 months – 2 years full-time or internship experience from the financial industry, strategy consulting, or similar position in a startup.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage internal deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with great proficiency in MS Excel and G-suite.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Quick learner with great attention to detail.
- Must be a person of good integrity.
- Kenyan national or work permit holder (work permit cannot be sponsored for this position).
