Kenya Tea Development Agency Limited was incorporated on 15th June 2000 as a private company under (CAP 486) of the laws of Kenya, becoming one of the largest private tea management agencies. The Agency currently manages 67 factories in the small-scale tea sub-sector in Kenya.
Position Scope:
Reporting to the Senior Credit Officer, the successful candidates will be responsible for customer acquisition and loan origination.
Key Responsibilities
- Create awareness of GFL products and services in order to ensure sustainable business growth
- Customer onboarding through the Point of Sale Device (BSS)
- Loan origination through the POS device (BSS)
- Actively take part in sales activities organized by GFL or any other farmers' forums in order to acquire business
- Offer excellent customer experience while interacting with customers on different channels
- Gather feedback from customers on GFL products and their experience to seek improvement
- Ensure compliance with GFL policies and procedures
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies:
- Must have a minimum KCSE Mean Grade of C-
- Diploma in Business related field
- Experience in sales will be an added advantage
- Must be computer literate
- Good understanding of the tea industry dynamics.
- Ability to plan and execute sales activities.
- Demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity, confidentiality, and integrity when dealing with customers.
- Excellent communication skills including vernacular
Remuneration:
- Customer registration: is Kshs 50 per customer
- Loan origination: 0.75% commission on net disbursed loan amount. based.
