In a notice, Secretary-General Raphael Tuju said during the Conference, they will review, formulate and approve all party policies.

They will also consider, amend, review or ratify the rules and regulations of the party to ensure compliance with the constitution of Kenya, Political Parties Act, and Elections Act.

"Take Notice, a meeting of the National Delegates Convention shall be held at 10:00 am on the 30th day of November 2021 at Kasarani," Tuju said.

The party will also review, amend and ratify its constitution to ensure compliance with the Constitution of Kenya, among other laws, as well as other issues forwarded by the National Executive Committee or governing council.

This comes a few days after the party's parliamentary group said that it had cleaned house and announced plans to revamp the party in an effort to give it a fresh lease of life.

"In the same breath, we are happy to announce that Jubilee has cleaned house at a local and national level and shaken off most of the bad elements who have been undermining the party, including, unfortunately, none other than the Deputy Party leader William Ruto," the parliamentary caucus said in a statement.

The parliamentary group said it will do everything to protect the legacy they have created over the past 10 years.

"As a party, we will swallow any bitter pill if that is the only guarantee for a better, healthier, and more robust party."

"During this clean-up, we have borrowed from Matthew 5:30 which says: “If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you...” As Kenyans will agree if you have one hand that is gangrenous with rancid infection of corruption and malice you really have no choice but to amputate it," the statement added.
