Kalonzo Finally Agrees To Play Ball As Interesting Details Leak From Negotiation Table

Details now suggest that supporters of ODM leader, Raila Odinga, have a reason to smile following the success of the secret negotiations that have been ongoing between him and Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka.

The two leaders have reportedly been holding behind-the-scenes talks about them working together. Earlier, however, Kalonzo had ruled out supporting Raila again, saying that the vice versa should now happen.

But it has been revealed that they have ironed out their differences and will have struck a reunion deal by Friday, after which Kalonzo will attend the Azimio la Umoja candidate naming event on Saturday.

A Wiper MP who has been involved in the negotiations said that things are falling in place and will be in order by Friday, and Kalonzo will attend the event where Raila will be named candidate.

“Yes, progress is good and we hope everything will be in place by Friday,” the lawmaker told The Star.

Similar details were given by KANU Secretary-General, Nick Salat, who told the paper that the progress of the talks is good and OKA has decided to join Azimio. He confirmed that Kalonzo will attend the event.

“The talks are going on so well so far. We are in Azimio. There is no debate about that. Take that to the bank and get a loan. It is working well. Definitely, he (Kalonzo) will attend the rally," he quoted.

But the details, if anything to go by, once again bring the former Vice President out as the inconsistent and unreliable politician his critics have been calling him.

This is with consideration that he had earlier announced to never again support Raila, stating that he would be the biggest fool if he did so.

He has also been saying that he will be going all the way to the ballot, further stating that OKA won't join another alliance and it is the others to join OKA.
