This comes days after the ODM party leader met leaders from the Mwanzo mpya caucus within the Azimio coalition.

Led by Machakos County Governor, who is also the Maendeleo chap cahap party leader,Alfred Mutua, the Mwanzo mpya Caucus said that they were being left outside important decision-making processes of the coalition.

We Must Be Listened to In Order to Fully Join Them. It Must Be Known That Time Is Running Out but We Still Have Options That We Can Invoke Anytime,” The Maendeleo Chap Chap Party Leader Stated.

Officials from the Wiper Party claimed on Friday, April 8, that the conference did not include all parties, and so the decisions were invalid.

Wiper will not be liable to the regulations, according to Makueni Member of Parliament Dan Maanzo, and the parties involved are allies of Raila's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Wiper maintained that because the other parties linked with Azimio are aligned with ODM, they do not require a seat at the bargaining table.

Maanzo went on to say that they had not yet finished negotiations inside the coalition and that the coalition's bigwigs were merely Jubilee and ODM.

The MP, who is close to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, indicated that his party is eager to defeat Cha Cha Maendeleo, NARC, and other parties in the lower eastern area during the August elections.

On Thursday, Raila met with Mutua, Ngilu, Martha Karua of Nar-Kenya, and Kivutha Kibwana of the Muungano Party, who had expressed dissatisfaction with the coalition's administration.

Makau Mutua, who is the spokesperson for Raila’s campaign secretariat, announced that Azimio's senior leadership would be expanded to include more coalition members during the meeting.

Raila Odinga, the Azimio presidential candidate, met with Azimio partner party leaders and representatives to foster the interests of our political movement and clarify a number of issues.

"The talks touched on inclusivity, equity, and consultation, all aimed at guiding and anchoring our coalition party ahead of the upcoming August polls.” Prof Makau Mutua’s statement read in part.
