Kandara Attack Suspect Detained For 21 Days.
The suspect in the Kandara arson attack that killed six family members has been detained for 21 days.

The main suspect in the arson attack that left six people from the same family dead has been arrested and will remain in police custody for 21 days to give more time for investigations by the police.
The suspect who was identified as Alice Mugikuyu Njoroge was accused of murder of her sister Mary Wambui and her three nieces and two grandchildren.
During the hearing at the Kandara Law Courts, the Principal magistrate Eric Mutunga gave the prosecution permission to detain Alice at the Kabati Police station awaiting witness statements and autopsy.
According to Muranga County Police commander Ali Nuno, the incident was caused by sibling rivalry and succession of their father’s property.
Also, the Muranga country police boss said that the dead people were unable to leave the room since their room was locked from outside which could only be done by a person within the house.
The court has determined that the case will be mentioned on the third of may 2022.
