Kericho Slay Queen Allegedly Given A Position Meant for PWD
According to sources privy to this publication, Kericho residents have been seen protesting after a Person with Disability (PWD) was denied a nomination slot in the county assembly and was instead replaced by a 'slay queen' named Noela Omollo.
According to social media reports, the disabled person, Benjamin Koech, failed to win a seat in the county assembly after campaigning for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, and his name was replaced with the name of the slay queen, which had not been submitted to the IEBC.

Benjamin Koech Kipkorir (PWD) was the 1st person whose name was presented to be nominated under PWDs but his name was replaced with Noela Omollo Opile who was never in name submitted to IEBC, not PWDS, resident or voter
He is a die hard UDA and Ruto supporter ???????? pic.twitter.com/AqEovTZHdN
Former Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria was also seen to share the claims on his Twitter account commenting on the scandal that was witnessed in the Kericho County government.
I heard about the scandal in Kericho County MCA nominations. From what I gather, there is no scandal, this is how marginalised people look like in Kericho. Ladies, less make up, more marginalisation. pic.twitter.com/fsYeFjk0Iz

According to one of the tweets seen by this publication, it is alleged that a senior leader in the county criticized the presence of persons with disability taking roles in the county government.
An elected leader in Kericho County legit said that people with disabilities "watachafua" sura ya county. Isssorait, 5 years is not a long time.
