"That's a sign of hunger, no need to hit them, just hit the government hopefully its responsible for the no, no enough food in the country". Stated one fan.

Internet users argued that it was improper for the guys in the film to impose their own rules; instead, they should have detained the women and brought them to justice.

"Looks like a punishment (which is definitely unlawful)

but boiling below is gender-based violence".

"Sorry to them..they probably need help with a start-up business. You could find they are struggling to look for support for their babies, being single mothers".

One fan added that the women were innocent until proven guilty.

"My problem with this is why usurp the duties of law enforcement? Arrest and handover. Remember the principle of innocent until proven guilty".Stated at peace.

"The shoplifting is condemned with the strongest terms possible but the flogging shouldn't be mett3d on those women. There are so many legal frames that are supposed to be applied in such circumstances and those guys flogging those shoplifters should face the law too".added peter Kigen.
