KOT Demands One who Tipped the Police over the Kamiti Escapees to be Rewarded 60M

Following the re-arrest of three Kamiti maximum prison convicts on Thursday 18th November in Kitui County, Kenyans on Twitter are now demanding that the individual who tipped off the police on the whereabouts of the escapees be rewarded a total amount of Ksh 60 Million that had been promised earlier by the directorate of Criminal investigations {DCI}.

Kenyans on social media stated that the person should be rewarded the amount on live television for transparency.

On Monday 15th November the DCI stated that the three suspects who escaped the highly manned police custody were strongly armed and dangerous and anybody who had information about their whereabouts was to be rewarded ksh. 20,000,000per head.

The trio is "armed and dangerous” and therefore anybody who will have any information of their whereabouts shall be rewarded a total amount of Ksh. 20,000,000.

The three criminals were Mohamed Ali Bikar,Joseph Juma Odhiambo alias Yusuf and Masharaf Abdallah Akhulunga alias Zarkawi. 

However, the convicts were arrested on Thursday18th in a remote village in Kitui County while on their way to Somalia to link up with Alshabaab terrorists.
