Laikipia County Residents Respond to BBI Ruling

Laikipia residents have condemned the Building Bridges Initiative {BBI} ruling as disrespectful.

According to the residents, they condemned the High Court for disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta, usurping the power of the people to amend the Constitution by declaring BBI unconstitutional.
This comes at a time on Thursday 13th, the Nairobihighcourt ruled the BBI null, unconstitutional and void.

According to the ruling, the President, government, or any state organ cannot initiate a popular initiative to amend the constitution.
