VIDEO: Lurambi MP Mocks COTU Boss Atwoli to be Fearless After Polls

Re-elected Lurambi Member of Parliament Titus Khamala has urged Central Organisation of Trade Unions {COTU} Secretary General Francis Atwoli to come out and face the world after the August 9th General elections.

Bishop Titus urged Atwoli who has been an ardent supporter of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition and a huge supporter of Raila Odinga to come out after Ruto emerge as the Victor.

During all the times of the Campaign, the COTU Boss campaigned against Deputy President William Ruto. who was declared the fifth president of Kenya on Monday 15th.

"Papa Atwoli be fearless wherever you are usitishwe".

On August 17th Atwoli refuted viral claims that he was going to step down following Ruto`s win after he was declared by the IEBC as the Victor in the August 9th presidential elections.

"This is a sad moment for us following the death of Isiah Kubai who was the GS of BIFU. We have called for a meeting to conduct a fundraiser in preparation for the burial on Friday in Meru. Because you (Itumbi) come from those sides you should join us instead of peddling lies," Atwoli said.

"Further, matters COTU (K) leadership is a COTU (K) constitutional issue and not an Atwoli issue. As of now, I am in office serving my last term."

In his response, Atwoli refuted assertions made by Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi that he had organized a meeting to resign from the union.

Itumbi asserted that the Cotu SG attempted to impose a successor at the emergency meeting he convened, but Atwoli's plan was rebuffed by the members.

"Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau (HNIB) agents are reporting that COTU Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, has finally decided to take a backseat. However, he is trying to force a successor,"  read part of the Twitter message by Itumbi.
