The Azimio la Umoja protests are expected to continue twice a week. The political party`s leader, Raila Odinga has called upon his supporters to the streets for demonstrations. Raila has said that the protests are lawful, stating that the police should give protestors security and not kill them.

Leaders from the party, including Kisumu governor Anyang Nyong`o has been leading protestors in Kisumu.

Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has given numerous warnings against the demonstrations especially when properties and individual people get attacked.

The protests have so far claimed two lives, with others being injured and businesses

The real question of who is supposed to be protesting is a topic many are dodging.

According to different reviews and opinions, te leaders should find a way of settling their issues without harming  anyone. There is a reason we have leaders closer to people, including the MCA`s. They could do a door-to-door gathering views, taking to powers above them until they are resolved.

Most people feel that the offices nearer to them should be their representative, the persons responsible should take it to records and to street if action is not taken. This way, innocent Kenyans and business will be saved from attacks.
