Man Arrested for Attempting to Defile a 13-Year-Old Girl in Makueni County
Peter Odongo, a Makueni man, has been charged with attempting to defile a 13-year-old girl in Changinywa village before the Makindu Law courts.

According to online sources, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) reported that Odongo had interrupted the girl who was on a bicycle on her way to school. He then grabbed her by the neck and took her into a nearby bush.
Reports state that the two are believed to have fought for a while until the minor managed to escape from the scene.
"Luckily, the girl managed to fight off the man who had already soiled her loins and escaped toward her home, where she reported the incident to her mother," reported the DCI.
Her mother rushed her to Kibwezi Sub County Hospital, where she received the appropriate medical attention.
The detectives were able to track down the offender at a neighboring farm following a tip from the residents in the area.
The case is still pending in court as the man will be charged with attempted defilement.
