Man City 4-1 Wolves Secures 21st Successive Victory

Manchester City extended their winning run to 21 games in all competitions to move further clear at the top of the premier league with a 4-1 victory against Wolves at Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City scored three late goals against wolves and an own goal from Wolves Leander gave them a 4 goals lead. They dominated and scored the first goal at the 15th minute through Leander Dendocker`s own goal. Gabriel Jesus scored two goals at the 80th minute and at the 93rd minute while Richard Mahrez scored in the 90th minute.

This victory has seen Manchester City widening the gap with second-placed Manchester United with a difference of 15 points. Manchester City is now unbeaten in 28 games in all competitions equalling their club-record run of 28 between April and December 2017.

Manchester City`s boss Pep Guardiola stated that on winning 21 games in a row their concern and focus was now shifted to Manchester United. They will host Manchester United at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Wolves, on the other hand, had one shot on target and got one goal and they were outstanding with Pep stating that they were tough and if they let the wolves run they would kill them.
