Man Commits Suicide After Losing Ksh 1,000
A 25-year-old man was on Wednesday evening found dangling inside his house at Ulamba in Siaya County.

George Ochieng Owich allegedly committed suicide after losing Ksh.1,000 belonging to the owner of a posho mill where he worked.
Assistant Chief Pauline Apondi Okumu said the deceased was sent by his boss to buy diesel but he lost the money and went straight home instead of returning to work. She said his body was discovered after his boss came to look for him at his home upon realizing that he had taken too long to return to work.
Owich’s father said that, when they found he had locked himself inside the house, they peeped through the window only to see his body hanging from the roof with a rope tied around his neck. The body was moved to the Rabuor hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem as investigations commence.
