Man Dies After Consuming Entire Jägermeister Bottle In Two Minutes
A South African man who was shown in an online video downing a whole bottle of Jägermeister in less than two minutes has reportedly passed away.

The man apparently participated in a challenge involving excessive drinking.
The man can be seen in the video downing a full bottle of Jagermeister in less than two minutes while others applaud and encourage him. Jagermeister has a 35% alcohol content.
But shortly after, he passed out and was taken to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.
On Wednesday, police in Waterval, Limpopo, announced that they had opened an investigation into the death of the unnamed male, who is thought to have been between the ages of 25 and 30.
According to Brig Motlafela Mojapelo, a spokesman for the Limpopo police, the event occurred at a neighborhood booze store where customers engaged in a drinking contest for a chance to win R200 (about Ksh.1,400).
“The winner who could consume the entire bottle of Jägermeister within a specified time, would get R200 cash,”
“One of them immediately collapsed thereafter and was taken to the local clinic, where he was certified dead.” the Limpopo police spokesman said.
