Man Killed in Elgeyo Marakwet By Grandchildren
Police in the Kapterit area of Marakwet West Elgeyo Marakwet County have now launched a manhunt of grandchildren who are believed to had killed their grandfather then burnt his body into ashes on Thursday 17th February.

According to details by eyewitnesses, it stated that the body of the elderly man was burnt down beyond recognition.
Confirming the incident police boss John Matasi stated that the deceased is thought to have been involved in a domestic land dispute with his family, which resulted in an unresolved conflict that resulted in the occurrence.
Matasi also added that the culprits fled following the incident.
He did say, however, that an inquiry had been initiated to apprehend and prosecute the suspects who are now on the run.
In a similar incident, Legendary Harambee Stars, AFC Leopards fan Isaac Juma was hacked to death at his home in Mumias, Kakamega County on Wednesday 26th January in related land dispute issues.
However, Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations later arrested a suspect Milton Namatsi, 27, who was linked to the gruesome murder.

According to information from the DCI Milton was picked from his house in Mumias, after preliminary investigations connected him to Juma`s killing that attracted the attention of the country.
Other information from the DCI revealed that Juma and his family had just finished their evening meal at their house in Mumias' Ebuyenjere hamlet when his assailants arrived.
Children who were eating their supper outside the house earlier in the night reported seeing silhouettes of humans crouching behind the fence.
They further returned to the house and informed their parents, who were unconcerned with the situation. They noticed a commotion in the sheep pen, and the sheep began bleating shortly after, leading Juma and his 17-year-old son to hurry outdoors to man the situation.
However, a bunch of men armed with machetes ambushed them before they could figure out what was going on, chopping Juma to death. His teenage son, on the other hand, narrowly avoided death by fleeing to the farm.
