According to investigations sourced by Bright Kenya news, the man has been identified as Damien Tarel, 28 years old.
Tarel is set to face 3 years jail term imprisonment and a 45,000-euro fine equivalent to 5,930,459.15 Kenyan Shilling.
However, police reports indicate that he has no previous criminal records. 


Other reports from close sources described Tarel as a person who was a bit lost, a bit geeky, and a bit of a gamer. Damien managed a local club of martial arts enthusiasts. The club focused on the practice of historical European martial arts. This included traditional swordsmanship. The incident has kept the world on a swing with top leaders condemning the action.
