According to a report by Capital FM on Tuesday, the vocal Mount Kenya politician warned the politicians who have declared their interest to go for the presidency in the next years’ general elections to approach the region with care having it in mind, that the region is the country’s largest voting block and must be taken seriously.

According to the Gatundu South legislator, the Mount Kenya region has been left behind by those aspiring for the presidency who are also pushing for political coalitions, taking the One Kenya Alliance as an example. He says the alliance which brings together Muasalia Mudavadi, Senator Gideon Moi, Hon Kalonzo Musyoka, and Senator Moses Wetangula has no one from Mount Kenya.

Honorable Kuria who is serving his second term as the Gatundu South MP was re-elected on a jubilee party ticket in the last general elections but lately, he has been marketing his own party Chama Cha Kazi after he lost control of the People’s Empowerment Party (PEP).
