Murkomen: Kalonzo Come to Our Side Let's Work Together
Speaking during Johnson Muthama's daughter's burial on May 2 in Machakos County, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen has spoken out on the humiliation that the Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is facing in the Azimio la Umoja coalition.

Senator Murkomen described Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as his good friend with whom they started their journey together many years ago and they walked through different situations. He recalled their friendship that started in America where they partnered on different things together.
Murkomen also stated that he respected Wiper leader, Kalonzo Musyoka as a good leader of the country.
Narrating their experience during the burial of the late President Mwai Kibaki in Othaya, Murkomen stated how President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga humiliated Kalonzo Musyoka when he approached them.
"Kalonzo anaenda kusalimia Raila...Raila anaangalia upande ule na kusalimia Kalonzo. Nikajiuliza, huyu atakua running mate ya mtu kweli?" Murkomen narrated.
Murkomen further stated that it was embarrassing for Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to appear before the committee where he would be interviewed on becoming a suitable partner for ODM leader, Raila Odinga.
Kipchumba Murkomen has now advised Kalonzo Musyoka to be careful with the leaders as they already experienced the breakup between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto in 2018 and he feels that the same embarrassment will be done to him.
"Kalonzo atatupwa akama ile viazi moto umeeka kwa mdomo," Senator Murkomen stated.
"Kalonzo still has a contribution to make in the Kenyan leadership. Come to our side let's work together." Murkomen added.
