Mutyambai Directs Resumption of Agnes Wanjiru's Murder Case

Kenya`s Inspector General Hilary Mutyambai reacted towards the murder case of Late Agnes Wanjiru who was killed by a British Soldier in 2012 Nanyuki Laikipia County.

Mutyambai directed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to reopen the case and compile all the available evidence and witness accounts.

He also further directed the DCI to collaborate with the UK government to ensure that the case is concluded before a court of law to bring the British suspect to book.
"I have directed the DCI to re-open the case and compile all the available evidence and witness accounts and ensure the case is concluded before a court of law. I am also urging the UK government to collaborate with us to conclude the case and administer justice," Mutyambai stated.

The late Wanjiru`s lifeless body was discovered on March 31, 2012, in a septic tank at a hotel in Nanyuki nearly three months after she had spent an evening partying with British soldiers.

According to details sourced y Bright Kenya news, five soldiers from the British Army Unit Kenya (BATUK) had revealed the same name of the Suspected soldier in the murder of Agnes. 
However, IG`s statement comes barely hours after UK Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley Ms.
