A man in Nairobi is counting his losses after two sex workers' robbed him of his valuables after promising him a threesome.

The man is said to have been in the company of two sex workers who agreed to 'service' him when the incident occurred at the entrance of a building housing a bank along Wabera street.

The two women took the man's phone and other valuables and fled, leaving him distraught. Following his predicaments, the well-dressed man approached the guards stationed in the area to seek assistance.

“Jamaa alidanganywa anaweza enda na zaidi ya mmoja wao kumbe mmoja wao aliingia mfukoni akapata simu na pesa akaenda nazo," one of the guards revealed.

The victim later went to the police station to report the incident.

In his police report, the man stated that he was on his way home from a good time with his friends in the city when he was approached by prostitutes who asked for sex, but he declined.

He also told authorities that he was surprised to find his phone missing after turning down the two women.

When the police arrived, they discovered that the women in question had vanished.

On the same, a sex worker was charged with stealing a laptop and two mobile phones worth Sh347,000 from a motorist on Koinange Street on April 9, 2022.

Sheila Anyango alias Stella appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo on charges of stealing from a man a black backpack bag, an HP Spectra laptop, and two mobile phones (iPhone 12 Pro max and Samsung Galaxy).

According to police, the motorist was driving down Koinange Street when he pulled over and approached one of the girls.

He was immediately approached by two more sex workers, who forced their way into his vehicle and began demanding money from him.

The woman and the accused allegedly took the items and then demanded money in exchange for them.

Theft cases have been seen to be on the rise recently, and Kenyans have been urged to be cautious and avoid falling into traps.
