Nanny arrested after killing 7 year old son of employer
The DCI has arrested Lydiah Jelagat Kipng’etich for allegedly killing her employer's 7-year-old son in Marigat.

The suspect apparently snuck into her employer's home with a panga went to their master bedroom and started to attack her. The husband was out at work. Neighbors heard the employer's screams and went to rescue her. The suspect had escaped before she could be caught.
The DCI statement read“It was in the process of getting the woman ready for the hospital that the neighbors stumbled upon the boy’s cold body hidden under the bed. He had some blood oozing from the mouth, with no physical injuries.”The woman was rushed to Nyandarua County & Referral Hospital for treatment and the same hospital is preserving the boy's body for an autopsy.
After searching in neighboring towns Lydiah Jelagat Kipng’etich was caught by detectives and is being held at Marigat Police Station.
