New Chicken Breed in Bungoma
A new chicken breed has been introduced in Bungoma to encourage poultry farming.

Joshua Chepchang, the secretary deputy general of KALRO`s livestock division has urged locals in Kakamega to be trained on the new chicken breed. The organization introduced the chicken in Lugari to encourage poultry.
Monica Fedha, the CEC of Agriculture in Bungoma has also encouraged the locals in Lake Victoria to get into poultry farming too. The county government of Kakamega sid it would help the farmers in investing in poultry farming. A factory has already been set up in Lugori for the same
