Nigeria Government Bans Twitter`s Operations
Nigeria`s Federal Government indefinitely suspended Twitter's operations in the country on Friday, June 4th evening after manipulation allegations.

According to the statement that was posted on the ministry's official Twitter handle on Friday evening, it accused the American social media application firm of allowing its platform to be used "for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria's corporate existence."
This indefinite ban comes barely two days after the application pulled down Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari`s post after it was widely perceived as offensive.
President Burahi`s Tuesday deleted tweet read:
"Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand".
