United Democratic Alliance Party has suffered a major setback in the Western Part of the country with five months to the General election.

Reports from the Democratic Action Party of Kenya led by Wafula Wamunyunyi has indicated that today they received defectors from the party such as the United Democratic Alliance Party ahead of the 2022 General elections.

In the list, it is reported that Deputy Governor Charles Ngome who was seeking to succeed Wycliffe Wangamati through the United Democratic Alliance Party has defected to the Democratic Action Party of Kenya which is an Azimio Party.

This is a huge boost to Raila Odinga's presidential bid ahead of the presidential race.

Today we received defectors from ODM, UDA, and Ford Kenya among them the three Deputy Governors of Western Kenya counties; Prof Charles Ngome (Bungoma), Prof Philip Kutima (Kakamega), and Moses Mulomi (Busia).
