On October 31, 2021, the British High Commission in Kenya’s capital claimed the UK was in full cooperation with the police to finally administer justice. The twenty-one-year-old woman’s body was found in a septic tank in central Kenya. According to the Sunday Times, on the evening of the gruesome crime, a British soldier confessed to the acts and even revealed to his counterparts where the body lay. This crime was dismissed by military executives and the accused never faced any line of interrogation. Jane Marriott, the UK High Commissioner assigned to Kenya, expressed concern and promised high-level aid to the investigation.
