Nyeri Residents Protest Against Man Who Hired Goons To Kill His Son
Residents revealed that an ill-strained relationship between the father and the son could have triggered the son's murder.

Mweiga residents in Nyeri county on Thursday staged peaceful demonstrations demanding justice for a man allegedly killed by hired goons funded by his biological father.
Armed with placards and pictures of the murdered businessman, the residents went around the local trading center calling for justice administration over the deceased.
Close sources indicate how Mr. Stephen Wang'ondu contracted killers who took away Daniel Wang'ondu's (his son's) life on the eve of January 1, 2021.
Residents lamented how inhumane the man could be to pay goons to take away his own son's life. They called upon justice for their fallen friend, adding that they cannot continue living with his killers remembering the late man as an industrious person.
Investigators recently revealed how the father had facilitated his personal driver to mobilize killers at a cost of Sh160,000, while the driver was to get another Sh20,000 as his pay.
The father is among five suspects already in custody and set for court arraignment on Friday (tomorrow).
