Over 200 Boda Boda Operators Arrested Over Sexual Assault of Female Driver
More than 200 Boda Boda operators have been arrested in Nairobi following a leaked video showing the Boda Boda operators harassing and assaulting a female driver along Forest Road yesterday.

Inspector-General of Police Hillary Mutyambai announced this today amid an extensive crackdown on other bodaboda operators who were involved and witnessed manhandling the female motorist. In the video, the operators are seen entering her car forcefully and tearing her clothes off, an act that depicts moral decay in the bodaboda industry.
There was public outcry yesterday after the video leaked on how the Boda Boda industry needs to be regulated and that it is the haven of thieves and thugs as has witnessed in several instances across the country.
It is alleged that the lady caused an accident to one of the Boda Boda operators, and that sparked anger that led them to harass the driver.
The public is appealing to the government to look for a lasting solution as this has been witnessed severally where bodaboda operators torch vehicles when they get involved in accidents with a motorist.
