The report dubbed Pandora Papers which shed light on the previously hidden dealings of the elite and the corrupt has elicited mixed reactions across the country with President Uhuru Kenyatta saying “The Pandora Papers and subsequent follow-up audits will lift that veil of secrecy and darkness for those who cannot explain their assets or wealth.”

But according to Sudi, the recent revelations are just an indication of how society is unbalanced.

“Many Kenyans are suffering, parents crying school fees, youths crying Tala, Branch, Fuliza, M-shwari etc while one family is accumulating unaccounted billions in offshore accounts. Mungu saidia Kenya (God help Kenya),” the vocal MP posted on his official Facebook page.

He also shared a video in which he hit out at the President over the recent revelations.

“There is no parent who is sure his/her child will go back to school next week, yet there is one person that has one company with over Ksh80 billion in his account….” Sudi noted in part of the video.

“When you come back, tell us who are your friends that have billions there and after that, we can now come to the small fish like me, Matiang’i (CS interior) for lifestyle audit,” he added.

While responding to the report, the Head of State promised to "respond comprehensively" when he returns back into the country.

He is currently on a state visit to the United States of America.
