Panic As A Prison Guard Who Declared Killing Mission In Thika Goes "Missing"
Meru Police are on a manhunt of a prison guard who has been missing since Tuesday morning amid claims he is on a mission to kill in Thika.

According To the police report, the custodian was armed with a G3 rifle loaded with 20 bullets.
He was last seen at Kangeta shopping centre carrying the weapon in a sack and was headed to Thika for a mission following an alleged disagreement with his wife over some Sh900,000.
A team of police and prison officials was mobilized to look for him but he is yet to be found.
Security has also been put on standby to protect the woman.
His disappearance has raised an alarm as Incidents of murder-suicide among police and prisons officers have in the past months been on the rise amid calls to tame the trend.
