According to Ugandan opposition Leader Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, he posted disturbing photos on his Twitter account indicating the brutal beatings the ‘suspects’ underwent.

“Arrested two weeks back. Accused of attacking Gen. Katumba. Five of them were killed during 'arrest and investigations.' This is how the rest appeared in court today- severely tortured! They told the court their tormentors sought to extract a confession!” Wrote Bobi wine.

This incidence comes barely a month after the Ugandan Minister of Works and Transport and a four-star general in the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) General Edward Katumba survived serious gunshots by unknown goons in Kisaasi, Kampala Uganda on Tuesday 1st June at 9 AM.


According to reports by the eyewitnesses in Uganda, the fatal incident happened when a convoy carrying Minister Edward Katumba Wamala was approached by unknown gunmen who begun shooting massively living the minister`s daughter Brenda Wamala, and a driver dead but the general critically injured.


He was then rushed to Malcom Clinic from where he was taken to Nakasero Hospital for further medical attention.
However, the fatal ordeal was strongly condemned by Uganda`s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni where he referred to the unknown goons in the shoot-out as ‘pigs’
