Plan International Targets to End FGM in Kenya
Plan international is an organization that fights for the rights of girls to ensure that they get equal free and fair treatment which ranges in all corners including workplaces, schools among others.

The organization has now launched a campaign to fight for the rights of young ladies against the exposure of Female Genital Mutilation {FGM} that has been taking a course in most African societies.

It is believed that about 2 million young women and girls are at risk of undergoing FGM during the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.
For instance, In Kenya proponents of FGM are taking advantage of curfews to administer the cut knowing the victims can't be saved.
FGM has claimed the lives of so many women and girls. Very few manage to survive it and even then, they remain with Permanent scars both physical and psychological. This needs to end with immediate effect before more lives are claimed.
It is now believed that to end the FGM narrative then an initiative needs to be done which is all schools from primary to secondary should cover topics on FGM.
