Police have currently launched a massive search for a form three boy in Ainamoi Secondary school in Kericho County after he drove a four-inch nail on his teacher's head on Thursday, June 10th.

Investigations reaching Bright Kenya news desk indicate that the boy { peter}, not his real name, become fierce when he was sent out to go and fetch 7,000 school fees arrears.

It is believed that the student attacked the principal with a piece of wood with a nail on it then ran.

The case involving Ainamoi Secondary School principal and student comes barely hours after Education Cabinet SecretaryGeorge Magoha asked principals to send students home over school fee arrears.

However, in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic, CS Magoha stated on November 19th, 2020 that no student was to be sent home for school fees, and any school head who could do that were to face the wrath.

“I would like to very firmly plead with our teachers that they have no permission from anybody to send a child home because of school fees,” he said.

 Elsewhere, in Kivaywa Secondary School in Kakamega County, three security guards were murdered after suspected thugs stormed the institution.

The thugs managed to escape with a TV set, laptop, a public address system, and money valued at Ksh150,000.

Speaking to Bright Kenya News, the area  OCPD Thomas Ototo Matete confirmed the fateful Incident and added that the police are probing into the matter.
