The three suspects in the group, according to the police, were viciously attacked by residents, although one suspect managed to flee very quickly.

The angry mob, baying for their blood, started a fire to burn the suspects they thought were behind a string of local home invasions.

Fortunately for the accused criminals, cops showed there just in time to save them from the mob that had attacked the suspects.

Members of the public took action against the criminals based on the information that directed them to the suspects’ nest, where they were able to land some of their missing belongings.

The police said that they recovered an assortment of household goods and electronics including 84 mobile phones, 4 iPads, a DSTV decoder, 1 KPLC meter, 3 gas cylinders, 2 TV sets, a woofer, and a laptop from the suspects.

The police hurried the two injured suspects to the hospital for care after removing them from the public’s reach because they had suffered severe burns as a result of the altercation.

Officers have started a serious search for the third suspect, who is on the radar of the locals and runs the possibility of meeting a more dire end than his counterparts if not caught in time.

Police pleaded with the people to turn over arrested criminals to them so that they can take appropriate action rather than enforcing the law themselves.
