“Prepare for more Cold Seasons & Rainfall in Nairobi”- MET Warns
The Kenya Meteorological Department warned on Thursday 12th August of cold and rainy weather conditions in Nairobi and its environs.

According to the weatherman, it will be cloudy, cold, and rainy today in the county with a temperature of 14 degrees in Nairobi.
The areas that will be greatly affected in Nairobi are as follows: Roysambu, Ruaraka, Embakasi South, Embakasi West, Embakasi Central, and Kamukunji.
However, MET also warned that rainfall is expected over several parts of the country for the next 24 hours.
They include; Narok, Nyamira, Nakuru, Kericho, Nandi, Homabay, Nyeri, Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia, Bungoma, Kisumu, Kisii, Siaya, Bomet, Elgeyo Marakwet, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Trans-Nzoia, Muranga, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru and Kiambu counties.
Others are; Tharaka Nithi, Laikipia, Nyandarua, Nairobi counties, and some coastal parts of Kenya.
Kenyans in the above-mentioned areas are therefore advised to brace accordingly to avoid cold-related diseases and inconveniences that might occur.
