In efforts to bolster public confidence over Covid-19 vaccine safety, President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will receive a jab in the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination.

The duo stated that the public should not be afraid to take the dose which has been cleared and declared safe for human intake. A week ago, Kenya kicked-off the agenda of vaccinating Kenyans against the ongoing Covid-19.

During the drive launch that took place at the Kenyatta National Hospital, Health Ministry Director-General Dr. Patrick Amoth became the pioneer recipient.

Speaking recently, President Kenyatta hinted that he would only adhere to the medical experts regarding who should be prioritized for the vaccine, when, and why.

Kenyatta was responding to public calls that required him to set a good example by taking the vaccine if indeed they claimed it to be safe.
