President Kenyatta Arrives in Zambia Ahead of President Hakainde`s Inauguration
President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in Lusaka Zambia on Tuesday 24th and joined ODM Leader Raila Odinga in attending Zambia's President-Elect Hakainde Hichilema's inauguration.
The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga arrived in Zambia on Monday evening to attend the function.
He posted a tweet on his Twitter account describing the event “It will be a great day for the people of Zambia and Africa as a whole to witness a seamless transfer of power as envisaged by the democratic process," Raila`s stated read.
Odinga was invited together with Julius Malema, a fiery South African politician, and Nelson Chamisa, the leader of Zimbabwe's opposition.

Hichilema, who is 59 years old, was Zambia's Opposition Leader for many years, most notably under incumbent President Edgar Lungu, who lost the election last week.
Namibia's, Mozambique's, and Tanzania's heads of state were among those who attended the ceremony.
