President Museveni Celebrates His 78th Birthday
President Yoweri Museveni celebrated his 78th birthday today, thanking God for bringing him this far as a leader and reminiscing about his life's journey.
Taking to his Twitter account, President Museveni appreciated himself for the achievements he had made and he also appreciated his family members for being there for him.
It is the 15th September (Nyankaaga) and its the 78th birthday of the old man with a hat. It has been God that has protected me all this time and blessed the NRM to be able to realize a lot of achievements. God has also blessed my family in all these years. pic.twitter.com/CiXKGOZrsl

He also thanked his wife, Uganda's Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni, for caring for their children while he was away fighting for independence.
I thank Maama Janet for looking after the children when we were fighting. I salute the NRM fraternity for their support, as well as saluting all Ugandans for whatever good work they are doing. pic.twitter.com/l2K5OXRzYh

He urged his fellow citizens to become entrepreneurs in fields such as agriculture in order to create jobs and economic growth.
"My appeal to all Ugandans, again, is that each and every adult should strive to be either a wealth and job- creator or a worker if you still have the energy (not too old- e.g. 90 years and above)," President Museveni stated.
Museveni has been Uganda's president since 29 January 1986.
