President Uhuru Kenyatta has on Friday revealed his worst year in his political journey.
The head of state who was speaking to Mt Kenya youths whom he met at state house has said that 2017 was his worst year and trying moment.
Uhuru has also revealed that he had to take the hard way because the country was almost divided into two sections due to the political temperatures in the country.
He has further cited that his decision to save the country cost his close allies including Deputy President William Ruto who was elected as a pair in 2013 and 2017.
"2017 was one of my worst and most difficult years and also my most trying time. This is because we were caught in a scenario where our country was divided into two. And we had to make a choice which was not easy. We had to take the hard route which was a disappointment to some of my own friends." Uhuru has said.
