President Uhuru Lauds Kipchoge for Winning the NN Mission Marathon
President Uhuru Kenyatta has congratulated marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge for his NN Mission Marathon win on Sunday.

In a message from the State House on Monday, President Kenyatta said the “emphatic victory from Kipchoge clearly demonstrated Kenya’s readiness for the upcoming Tokyo Olympic”.
Kipchoge won the NN Mission Marathon with 2:04:03 time.
The Ineos marathon winner made a strong and energetic run leading the race for the better part of the race and therefore managing to win the race.
The kind of performance he displayed in the Netherlands on Sunday will help to boost his confidence ahead of Tokyo Olympics scheduled for July in Japan.
“It was a bit windy but I can say the race was perfect. This marathon was the real test for Tokyo Olympics. I am now going to focus on the Games,” Kipchoge said after the race.
