This is a clear indicator that TVET colleges are gaining recognition and becoming a choice of many form leavers who need to progress in higher learning. TVETS have been known to focus on practical skills that enable learners to receive technical knowledge vital in economic growth and development.

With TVETs becoming a preferred education center, the government and the relevant stakeholders should provide more resources to ensure that the numbers opting for TVET colleges have the necessary materials to study and progress in their career dreams.  The colleges should be able to meet the standards to ensure that they suit the students' capacity, needs and be able to provide the training at ease without overstretching.

More needs to be done to ensure that they get the required funding to enable them to provide a learning environment and the necessary equipment to carry out their practical lessons. This will ensure that students hone the technical knowledge that will spur growth towards achieving vision 2030.
