Aminata Diallo, a midfielder for Paris St-squad, Germain's women's was arrested by French police on November 4th as part of an inquiry into an attack on teammates.

Diallo, who is 26 years old, was apprehended on Wednesday morning. PSG's 4-0 triumph over Real Madrid in the Women's Champions League on Tuesday featured the France international.

The club announced in a statement that they were collaborating with police to "shine light on the facts."

The club also stated that they had "took all necessary precautions to ensure the health, well-being, and safety of play," in addition to strongly condemning "the violence committed."

According to reports in France, one of the players who was assaulted was Kheira Hamraoui, who was allegedly dragged out of her car by two masked men who battered her legs. Diallo, who has seven caps for France, joined PSG in 2016 and has appeared in over 60 games for the club. Last season, she was on loan at Atletico Madrid.
